DENIM ON DENIM (WITHOUT RE-VISITING THE 80'S)

Eighties fashion is possibly the most experimental fashion era of all time. It was a decade of shoulder pads that reached your cheekbones, hair styles which helped you gain another 10 inches in height, bright colours and accessories that went on for days. It was inspired by a period of rebellion from what was considered normal and music artists of that time. It was believed that the larger your presence the greater success you achieved.

I'm not sure we will ever re-visit the eighties in its entirety (I hope not), but we are sometimes presented with fashion trends influenced by this outrageous fashion era (thankfully, with a modern take).

For those of us who were lucky enough to witness the eighties, it can be hard to embrace the current denim-on-denim trend without it taking us back to this period. However, let me show you how anyone at any age can nail the denim-on-denim trend without feeling an inch of regret in years to come. I promise you'll love the urban chic vibe it emits!
