IT'S A WRAP WITH THE WRAP DRESS

Not so long ago a very close and dear friend of mine wanted my help in choosing a dress to wear to her sons Baptism. We were due to go shopping together just a couple of weeks prior to the big day. That was until she sent me a picture of a dress which she had found online wanting to know if it was ideal for her current post baby body shape. It was a wrap dress!

This particular wrap dress was in a stretch fabric with a “v” and empire cut neckline. It came in black and black with white polka dots. I steered her away from the polka dots (her style is more edgy, less girlie), but I had no hesitation in recommending that cut of dress.

The beauty of a wrap dress is that it suits all body shapes (yes, all!) and it is timeless. If that's not enough, keep reading. You can dress it up for the office, rock it on a night out with some killer heals, dress it down for grocery shopping, wear it with opaque tights and boots for winter, or with the sleeves rolled up and a pair of sandals for summer. It's an all-year-round option and with the festive season approaching (much faster than I would prefer- can I get an Amen?), it's the perfect piece to take you from day to night.

I have no hesitation in advising you that this iconic dress will remain part of the fashion world for as long as fashion is in existence. 

This is a wardrobe staple ladies so feel free to splurge on one that fits you like a glove and you love. Remember cost per wear! However, for the more budget conscious I found some real beauties for you. Check them out below.
